Biography
| Though I've always loved animals and the natural world, photography has forged a more intimate connection and a deeper understanding of how important and emperiled that world is. The preservation of our environment has long been important to me. I hope that with each image I capture I can bring further awareness to the natural world around us that so needs our protection, and the areas which are already being affected. I concentrate much of my work on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where I live. The Chesapeake Bay Watershed is full of habitats constantly threatened by development and pollution. I've also been exploring the rest of Maryland as well as New England, New York and the Smoky Mountains. I expect you will see new galleries showcasing new locations in the coming months... |
